- Boost self-confidence through activities and social interactions with both other children and adults.
- Enhance the clarity of self-expression through practice, practice and more practice.
- Finish tasks that they start.
- Follow increasingly complex instructions.
- Complete increasingly complicated puzzles.
- Learn about science and the environment.
- Develop higher-level problem-solving skills.
- Gain a stronger sense of independence.
- Learn to play more complicated games and follow rules.
- Refine skills including color, cutting, drawing and shape recognition.
- Strengthened resilience; learning to accept outcomes and handle setbacks and frustrations without getting upset.
- Make informed, responsible decisions and accept the consequences of those decisions.
Kindergarten is a really exciting time for children and parents alike; we’re taking a big step into the unknown together – that’s as exhilarating as it is terrifying.
